I must be downloading it at the most unfortunate time, but download speed was initially at about 65 kb/sec and now dropped to 35 kb/sec... i'll be here for the next 6 hrs waiting for it.

Originally by: WeeLB OK, I have an addendum to my previous post. It appears that I can indeed run Eve, but only directly from the .dmg file! In other words, when I just launch the file from the mounted image it works fine, but when I copy the program to my HDD it suddenly becomes a program that is unrecognizable by the OS (Leopard). For the life of me I can't figure out what would cause this to happen!
Any thoughts?
Say, are you moving it to your Applications folder?

Originally by: WeeLB Hey Triath Lon,
I did indeed copy the file to the Applications folder, though I don't really think that should matter. It goes from being a perfectly workable file in the .dmg image to being a file that allegedly isn't supported by my architecture (MacBook running Leopard). For some stupid reason the copying process is breaking the file, and I'll be damned if I can figure out why! I just repaired permissions (including the Remote Desktop SUID error that has plagued Leopard) and it's still not working, not that I expected that to fix the problem.
Cheers
Well, i don't get to install Leopard till tomorrow - i don't want to install it on my Mac Pro, and i left my MacBook at work... so i can't replicate your problem. That, however, is very strange. I have no idea how coping could brake your game...
